Pizza Man Kills Robber by Paul Falstad

A Pizza Shop owner is robbed at shotgun point on a lonely night in Akron, OH. The masked gunman pokes a shotgun into the onwers neck and demands the money. As the owner hands over the cash, the armed man lowers the shotgun slightly. Seizing the opportunity, the owner pulls his pistol and shoots the thief 3 times. The assailant drops to the floor, but somehow stands up. The Pizza Man fires 4 more rounds into the mans mid-section, knocking him down again. Unbelieveably, the robber stumbles out to the sidewalk, walks 150 feet then collapses. The robber dies, the Pizza Man lives and becomes somewhat of a local hero. Long live the Pizza Man. He declined to be identified for this interview, but bravely still sells pizzas in Akron. I'm told they are pretty good. Just don't try any funny stuff. I don't believe the color of the perp makes much difference. In Ohio, if you pull an armed robbery and you get shot and killed, tough luck.

Plus, the robber had a mask so it wasn't a race issue for the Pizza Man, it was self defense.

Let's not make everything a race issue and deal with the facts.
