What might have been the loudest point of the College GameDay broadcast, Kentucky fans boo Rick Pitino once mentioned. Check out more from College GameDay, including all the best signs, at http://ThatFan.com
I can see why they would boo just cause he has something to do with louisville, but Pitino did a lot for Kentucky so I'll never boo the man, just louisville.
Loserville wants to be like Kentucky so much, they went and got their former coach. They still won't be better than Kentucky though. Look at them now. They went from undefeated and in the top 5 to losers of 4 out of 5 games. A couple of those losses against teams they probably should have beaten. It's clear that they benefited from a weak non-conference schedule and are finding it tough to beat great or decent teams.
@jhamlin726 He did NOT turn his back on anyone. The UofL Basketball Coaching position was the only one open when he was looking for a new job. He loves the state of Kentucky, and since the UK job was taken already, why not go to Louisville? And as for his personal life and your accusations of him being an adulterer, those are of no consequence to the game of basketball, and it's classless of anyone to bring that into the argument. It's simply done out of spite from being butt hurt.
@upinya25 I wasn't saying booing is classless at all, just the way people were booing a man who brought great success to UK. When Denny Crum decided to be the celebrity guest coach with Joe B for the summer exhibition game between UK Legends, I didn't boo Coach Crum. Why? Because I respect the man for what he did for the program. All a lot of UK fans seem to care about is winning, and it seems like you don't care how you win, just that you win.
@upinya25 Of course he regrets leaving. I'm not denying that. Yes there were other job openings, but Pitino likes the state of Kentucky—I do not know why, I guess it's because he's loaded. It was the best fit for him considering where he had been before he decided to go to Boston. Who is anyone on the UK side of things to say where he can and can't go? You can't deny the fact that Pitino is the best coach UK ever had since Rupp. Also, I wasn't saying booing in general is classless.
I literally don't even know what the reporter said after i watched this.

@jw870206 I have no problem with Pitino being booed. He turned his back on UK by going to UofL and then he turns out to be an adulterer.
