@circlecityrabbit2004 People who don't brush their teeth , who eat nothing but the cheapest pork and the stalest whiskey, who learn to shoot a rifle before they learn to read n write , n who start fucking their sister from the age of 3, will have similar accents even if they are separated by 5000 miles and 250 years.

@RedShirtArmy I guess you guys hate even the gentrified English whites of Virginia/NC ?? N remember , Hillbillies never had enough money to own slaves.

Yeah we definately could be man, yeah it's crazy, a half a world away and alot of the traits are still the same. Hopefully one day i'll make it over there, i'd sure like to see it all, take it easy man! -Deo Vindice

greetins brother, would love ya to come to old Ulster. That accent your hearing in this video is the Belfast accent and is unique to really only the capital city of Northern Ieland. The actual Ulster-Scots language and accent is to be heard round North Antrim, the ards peninsula and some other scatterd parts, check out 'A dander with Drennan' on youtube for examples of the Ulster Scots tongue. Bless ya brother.

Wow, that's purdy cool right there, brother! Ya been around! They sure have a cool accent out there. I would like to visit Ulster, I'm a great fan of the region, especially due the influence it has in our Southern culture. I'm of Dutch descent, but mom's side is Irish (Republic) and Scots-Irish, so I reckon we all have something in common there. God bless Ulster indeed! Hope ya had a good time there, it seems like it!
Them boys from Ulster dont sound much different than us Confederates. Brothers in arms indeed.
Who knows, I could be related to some of them, part of my ancestors were Scots/Irish from Belfast, their surname is McFarren.

We could be kin man. Part of my family are McClains - also Ulster-Scots. I agree with you too that a lot of their accent is similar to ours. Related people. Anyhow, glad you liked it. If you get a chance to get over there to Belfast I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I did. Later man.
