  • One of miles Davis's greatest pieces, and a testament to the incredible composition skill of the great Wayne Shorter. This piece opened Miles live concert dates with the second quintet for years and it's easy to see why. No one wrote greater music for Miles to play than Shorter who had a very special place in miles music. I love this stunning arrangement with Chick Corea's perfect electric piano pairing in sound and texture to the horns. And that long meandering one trumpet line...great music!
