You guys sound great. A bassist should be able to hold down the groove, but being able to play melodically is important to for the other dimension. You do both very well.

I like the false harmonics. I'm more used to plucking with my first finger and hitting the actual harmonic with my thumb, but I like your method.

In response to mr otherguy270..... what would happen if both played the traditional role of "bass player" at the same time? Mud? I would hazzard a guess that you may view bass purely from the traditional perspective of providing the low end and that's all. The Jaco revolution changed all that didn't it? I think it's great to hear a "musicians" experimenting / improvising with each other, regardless of instrumentation. If their roles are too confusing for you then listen to some CCR.

well sorry I don't like solo bass. Kinda the same way I don't like jumbo shrimp. Or Athletic scholarships.
