I don't feel closer to an arab than to a turk, an iranian or a malai. If you talk about religion a lot of arabs are not muslims. They are millions of christians and druze in egypt, syria or lybanon. I don't care about arabism, I am an amazigh and morocco is an amazigh country.

We don't need the arabic culture we have our own amazigh culture. I don't see how the moroccan culture is similar to syrian or yemeni culture.

The Arab culture is your history.Morocco would not be what it is today if it was not ans Islamic Arabic speaking.Islam also influenced Arab culture

Syria and Yemen are both Arabic speaking and a common history is shared.Morocco was part of the Muslim Arab empire for centuries.

In my family there is a Syrian and Moroccan couple. They do have things in common. They are happy, they both speak Arabic and they find a common culture between themselves.

They both consider themselves Arabs.

The definition of an Arab may have evolved over time, but today we have over 300 million Arabs.They all speak the same language, they share a common history,the same religion,the same traditions and many foods are the same

I agree with you that an Arab today is different than what an Arab was 14 centuries ago, but the whole world has changed and an Amazigh today is different than an Amazigh who lived 14 centuries ago

Islam influnces all cultures. If you live in a Muslim Arabic speaking country, than your culture will be similiar to another Muslim Arabic speaking country.

In the USA there over 300 million people. The majority are Christian who are English speaking. Customs change depending on what part of the USA you are in.

But a Person from the north, south, east or west still claim to be American.

Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, and England are all English speaking countries. Each has a distinct nationality, but they all have things in common.

An American,Canadian and Australian person come from different countries, but they are similiar, they also share common values, customs and beliefs.

A person from Morocco is Moroccan. A person from Syria is Syrian. They are both Arabic speaking, they share common beliefs, they have common customs and they have a common history
