There's a lot of discussion on the internet about when a christian fasts whether or not they shouldn't be with their spoise. I will be fasting and praying for changes around me and my family. My husband won't be. That is something i will be taking to the Lord. But my question is how do i tell my husband we can't habe relations for x amount of time because i'm fasting if it says my body isn't my own and his body isn't his own...Christian counsel please

Great teaching and delivery of GOD's word.
Ephesians 5:25 speaks of abstaining from sex (with consent) for the purpose of fasting and prayer for a period. Certainly, we must be sensitive to the needs of our spouse. We must especially pray when our spouse is not walking with the Lord and is not in step with the Word of God. Because God is faithful, through prayer, He will give you wisdom and honor your fast as it is done unto Him, even if your spouse is not in agreement with abstaining.
