Mig 29K/KUB tests aboard the Kuznetsov

Mig-29K and Mig-29KUB tests aboard the "Admiral Kuznetsov" aircraft carrier in the Barents Sea - 28th and 29th Sep 2009.

The Mig-29K (naval variant) has been ordered by the Indian Navy. According to recent reports, the Mig-29K will replace the SU-33 in the Russian Navy.

@phadil even do the mig-29 has a lifting body design its wings are small in span and area. even do it could takeoff with minimal flap it would only do this if it had very limited fuel or with no arnmanets. even do the su-33 is better plane and alot better then the mig-29k, i think that carrier operation is more suited to the likes of a smaller aircraft due to its small space onbroad of a aircraft carrier of this size su-27 is just to big and has had some problems becouse of that
