  • The sounds you've made in this demo can easily be remade with many other different synthesizers, the Arp 2500 is not meant to be like that. Even though the Arp 2500 has much MUCH more potential then what you have presented, I congratulate you on your attempt.

Overall, nice sounds but just a weak performance on this beauty.

  • @MovieTech True, but I've always heard it pronounced Arp as one word. Even on the original Arp demo records they said it that way. But, who cares, and I'm extremely jealous that you have the ability to play one of these beasts!

  • @plungerdrum its "A.R.P." as in "Alan R. Pearlman" - but it can also be pronounced "Arp" officially as well. Both ways are good.

  • @plungerdrum it can be pronounced BOTH ways officially. After all. ARP stands for Alan R. Perlman...

  • The pretty lights are part of the sequencer...

  • @futuristique ...Indeed....Moog is an extremely rare name. Robert Moog is the only one I know with that name. I never heard it on TV or the radio.

  • @telescopereplicator you might not believe me but some people actually don't know how to properly pronounce their name! in my country anyway. as for moog, hmm, interesting! but you can't blame people for not knowing, as it seems this guy was the only moog on the planet haha

  • It's pronounced as ONE worp, not A.R.P! ^__^

  • Okay, Start with the tone, up a full tone, down a major third, now drop an octave and up a perfect fifth. THats it alright.

Something awful just happened to my mashed potatoes….

    Rhythmicons

  • THE ultimate synth !! I think it's the best looking synth ever made. Because it really looks high-tech and complicated. I love analog synths, so all these buttons and sliders would be a dream come true !!!!! ;-)

I would love to own one, one day.........
