  • Gorgeous tree! Since the fall color seems like it appeared pretty late in the season, (compared to the surrounding trees in the video) I'm almost thinking the tree might be a nice red Sugar Maple. In our area of the midwest (Minnesota) Red Maples tend to show color very early, and most Sugar Maples late. Either way, that tree is outstanding!

  • Thanks for sharing this nice moment with you. I'ts a majestic tree and I can't wait to experience something like this of my own. I just planted mine yesterday; I hope I live long enough to see mine grow as big as yours. Gus, from Toronto.....: )

  • is this acer rubrum?

  • Yes you can. Just make sure it is in almost full shade. Especially down there in San Antone. :)

  • I love it!!! It's beautiful!! I'm from San Antonio, TX. Does anybody know if I can grow those kind of trees in South Texas???

  • Absolutely gorgeous tree! Thank you for sharing that with us (smiles)!

  • Very beautiful Red Maple tree. Thanks for the share! Looks very healthy too.
