I'm a big fan of Chatreeo but he should've used a guitar with humbucking pups. I talked to Keely Electronics about this pedal. Guess what? You need a speaker cabinet at least 150watts to get the true essence of this pedal, especially in the third setting. They warn you that you can blow your speakers out if you don't have the right speakers wattage. I have this pedal and I love it! This pedal is their pride & joy. But if you have a good amp head with natural distortion, you don't need it.

The Wylde OD isn't a distortion pedal. What Zakk does is plays a JCM800 head overdriven, then uses his OD pedal to fatten the sound and give it some more gain.
If you're running your amp clean and are looking for a good distortion pedal, then the modded MT-2 is a good way to go. It really depends what kind of sound you're after.
I found a Nady Tube distortion on ebay for $50 and it does just about everything I need. 3 gain stages, lots of eq options.
