  • Normally the waterpump will be replaced. However, on this car the waterpump was recently changed. The mechanic explains this in dutch.

  • thats incorrect should loosen variator first to get correct tention

  • Bosch mafs are crap (german)

  • Replaced my german maf on my alfa and the surge at 3000 is back, happy days

  • @alfistii1 ; Change variator every other belt service, as long as oil is done evry 6 months filter also..

  • Try Maf test, unplug and go for drive, if power returns then replace the maf, its a bosch part and is not 100% reliable (made in germany lol)..

Car won't idle disconnected but will drive fine on the move...powerloss normally Maf

  • Just had my belts done inc variator, water pump and balance belt.

I have now noticed the car is not so powerful especially when the variable valve

timing kicks in, no more shove in the seat feel, i suspect timing may be out.

Was done by specialist using correct tools, how do i check if timing is correct, thanks
