How long do these things stay lit? and what kind of power soruce is it?

It runs on 6 AA batteries. The voltage out put is 4.5dc. it uses two 4.5 vdc battery configurations in parallel. you can get about 1 - 2 of run time on fresh batteries. Saber power requirement and run times can very depending the LED , how many accent LED's and the type of sound module used.
