We've heard this hotchpotch of noise for decades now. I'm disappointed to hear something like this, improvised or not. I don't care about 'the game'. Originality should make us gasp, certainly in flourishing ideas, and collage might just be the spirit of all art(!), but something new has to occur, surely!? People mutating tradition works too, but this nonsense isn't a 'tradition'. Random sweep: Webern/Cage/Xenakis/Elliott/Or
nette, actually/ALL the serialists/etc. This is miscellaneous pap. -
they're not playing the game very well at all. as stated, the point is for the performers to make the calls. the music is good, but without the performers input, the point of this being a GAME PIECE is lost.

this is awesome
I know... what is the point of COBRA if the players aren't participating in the calling?

Interesting....but the performers aren't doing anything. They're supposed to be making calls, trying to make the decisions, affecting the prompter...
They're all just standing around, waiting their turn to be pointed at.
