Custom Built CORR/SC truck designed and built from the ground up with parts from Tamiya, Duratrax, HPI, Ofna, Pro-Line, RPM and Traxxas. Custom built 3mm 6061 aluminum chassis, full interior and roll cage. 3 Differentials, Velineon brushless with a 2s lipo. Runs great though is more for show than go but a great project nonetheless. Also set up to run a much lighter standard lexan body for bashtime. Full build pics on rcdriver.com and scale4x4rc.org forums.

  • I just bought a traxxas slash 2wd sc truck two weeks ago, and I am trying to make it like a race truck with a full tube roll cage, and a 4 link. Is it possible to do it with all that stuff that I had mentioned? How much is that axle and where could I get it. How hard was it to make your truck? by the way: "sick truck".

  • @motoracer10120 It has a modified WK rear axle, thought s stock one would work fine. This truck was built up from scratch, turning a Slash into a solid rear would be quite the project, though anything is possible.

  • Awesome car and build, can you make a vid tutorial of how to make a rollcage quick and easy cuz i need to make one

  • @classicrocker2 check out scale4x4.org, lots of tips on building cages and metal - far better than I could do here.

  • amazing!

how much does it weigh? does it corner well?

  • it's a tank....lots of metal on there. I have a standard lexan body as well for fun running that really lightens it up. The suspension needs a little tuning yet, but 4wd makes all the difference in the world!

  • Awesome build! I have an old nitro mt2 that needs to be brought back to life. I had the idea of doing this but was unsure of how well it would work. from the looks of it, its just fine for sc duty! a true inspirational video!

  • what type of metal did u use

  • @dschlegel75 you can buy a kit from slash customs (or something like that) that will turn a 2wd slash into a true sc truck. quite expensive though a company called rc4wd make it

  • favorite truck i have seen by far

  • Hey, I was interested in reading your threads on the two forums you mentioned, but I cannot find the threads. Could you please link to the threads? I would be very happy if you did :)
