You know, I am sick and tired of people talking about how all black women want are the thugs and the gangsters! That is complete horse shit! Have you ever stopped to think that these women who are usually of low means are going for the men who are within proximity, and you know growing up in the ghetto, I doubt that that man who happens to be in proximity is going to be a doctor. It helps no one to perpetuate this myth but it helps plenty to think beofore you speak or in this case, accuse.

I understand your argument but I have tried to talk to numerous girls who rejected me in favour of dating a "thug" who was within the same proximity or even further.

I basically said the same thing you said at the end of the video in regards to women, but it can be applied both ways.

Yes, but you are speaking as if men of your caliber are plentiful in the ghetto's across America. If black women were to get involved with every black man with his head on strait that would still leave an rediculous number of sista who would be left out in the cold. I am sorry, but there are simply not many like you floating around the ghettos. So now what? Do you think these women are going to sit around and hope that the decent brother gets dumped so she can have a shot or hook-up with pookie?

Another factor to consider is that if the ghetto is all I have known, and these thugs are all I have seen, and there is no positive male figure in my life to counter these images presented through the community as well as television, how would I know how to determine what is or isn't a suitable mate?

And let me be clear, I am not advocating dating of the thug I am statint the obvious. There are many factors at play as to why these poor choices are being made on a constant.

Have you ever considered that maybe YOU WERE NOT the right kind of guy for THOSE particular girls. Having the same skin color doesn't make you automatically compatible. Maybe your style isn't what they're looking for. Your generalization of black girls puts you on the same level as a racist. If those girls didn't want you, keep it moving. People are attracted to what attracts them. There's no need to resort to stereotypes because of personal rejection. That's life, every day of the week.
