  • Guys, I was there at this show when I was 13 years old. And it has changed my life forever, dye-hard LZ-follower I have been since. With hindsight it has been such a privilege to have witnessed just this particular concert.

  • reworked in studio? that was the filming not audio, they went to shepherd studios to basically lip sync thats why jpj had to wear a wig. The bozo who filmed them cut out the actual footage for the fantasy sync, the audio was recorded by eddie krammer and they cut and paste some nights in with others

  • I love their vibe in '75 too, too bad plant sucked most of those dates minus seattle '7 and LA 24th 75.This is actually a good voice for plant in 73. I think he was starting to lose it in 73

  • 338 tons of catshit. nice post.

  • added to my favs right away!

  • he didn't sing STH "perfectly" either. the climax had about two notes in it. i get that he didn't wanna attempt the original melody, but had he never heard of octaves?

  • Don't take this as a disagreement because I enjoy Plants singing with or without the occasional cracking, but TSRTS isn't a good example since it was highly reworked and overdubbed in studio situations long after the concert was over. And not just Plant, all four of them. I personally like '73 & '75 better than '72.

  • Now THAT was good !

  • Probably the best heartbreaker solo i've heard :O holy hell.
