I have this NAS and I agree it's terrific for centralizing storage and streaming video on my local network....however accessing files outside of my local network via the cloud is painfully slow...much slower than DropBox. What is your experience with downloading via the cloud?

@mystarstudios not so good. also, my ipad2 doesnt always detect it. and ever since the xbox 360 update, some formats dont play well when you fast forward them. also on my vista machines i can no longer see the thumbnails of pictures. but, its still a good buy. drop box is faster - but functions differently because it downloads locally to your system behind the scenes
