This question has probably been asked a million times, but I don't want to siphon through all the comments. Does the other computer you're viewing also need this program? Or can you just view any computer?

Thank you great video, I've tried setting this software (Ultra VNC) up at a karaoke bar, so they can control their computers in their vip rooms, but all their computers are offline and the owners don't seem to think they need to be online for the software (Ultra VNC) to work instead they have all their computers connected to each other via ethernet (cable).
so do those computers need to be online, for the software (Ultra VNC) to work?

@SuperMichog The Client and Server need some kind of network. Even if it is just a crossover cable between them. (A network of two)
