Nice how you ignored my first point there. Black kings selling their own happened in a different country, so why would the film take a complete deviation from the plot to show some black king in Africa selling their people? It's a film, still made for entertainment - not a documentary. Explain Django killing Stephen, the black house slave, at the climax of the film. Explain Candie being killed by Schultz - a white man. It's set in the past, just as 'Inglourious Basterds' is.

And you definitely do need someone to tell you something. Did this film show every white American male in the South? No. It showed the ones that were part of the slave trade - it's the entire focus of the movie. Black Kings selling their people as slaves is appalling, yes, but completely irrelevant. Doesn't lessen the horrors shown in the film.

It's not anti-white, it's set in a historical period where the treatment of blacks by whites was appalling. The way the people in the South treated the ethnic minorities at the time puts them on par with the Nazis in my opinion, so it's about as anti-white as Inglourious Basterds. Sure they didn't try and eradicate the entire racial group, but most of the things done in this movie are accurate, and were common (with the exception of Mandingo fighting). Please get your head from your arse.
