Lyrics:

I'm satisfied with just a cottage below
A little silver and a little gold
But in that city where the ransomed will shine
I want a gold one that's silver lined

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold

Though often tempted, tormented, and tested
And like the prophet my pillow's a stone
And though I find here no permanent dwelling
I know He'll give me a mansion my own

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold

Don't think me poor or deserted or lonely
I'm not discouraged I'm heaven bound
I'm but a pilgrim in search of the city
I want a mansion, a harp and a crown

I've got a mansion just over the hilltop
In that bright land where we'll never grow old
And some day yonder we will never more wander
But walk on streets that are purest gold

  • Do you have any more instrumentals by this same group. I love this style. Let me know if I can purchase one somewhere.

  • There are no cds. This was a special for a church service. Sorry.

  • unfortunately, the instruments overpower the singing. I can barely hear it at all. Good for a karaoke piece though.

  • Sorry to break this to you but there's no singing. I should have made that more clear.

  • i love the song, i do have to say i prefer the acopela ( i think i spelled that right ?)

more but its a great video

    God bless :)

  • Thanks.

  • Ah, no wonder LOL. In the description it says there are, and it sounded like there are. Must be the instruments combined so well that make it sound that way.
