WA - Australia - Kangeroe Eiland

The recordings in this video are from July 2009, the Australian state of Western Australia, Broome, mainly in The Malcolm Douglas Wilderness Park. Almost all animals in this video are native in Western Australia. The only exception are the American Alligators. The song is from the 60-ies by the Dutch group Cocktail Trio and it is based on the Australian song Tie Me Kangaroo Down (a.o. by Slim Dusty)

I heard this on the radio at work and it completely weirded me out... btw it's not based on the song by Slim Dusty, it's Rolf Harris for a start and it's almost exactly the same except for the lyrics.

@spammage84 Thank you for your reaction. This Dutch version is from the beginning of the 60-ies or so. Last year I bought the Slim Dusty version in WA during our holiday trip and indeed it sais: composer R. Harris 1962 EMI Music Australia.
