Action plan to return B.C. to 12% PST/GST

The Province will reinstate the combined 12 per cent PST and GST tax system following the referendum decision by British Columbians to extinguish the HST in B.C., Finance Minister Kevin Falcon announced today. An action plan has been established to guide the transition process and help ensure an effective and orderly transition from the HST to the PST plus GST system in B.C.

@manalishi911 privatizing translink and bc ferries would actually cause the government to raise taxes in the end and our politicians pensions are a drop in the bucket, so that would be a terrible formula for lowering our operating costs. british columbian voters are so fickel and ungrateful. you lead one of the most privileged lives of anyone on the planet yet you complain every time a common sense solution to fund our social programs is put forward.

Heres a brilliant idea Lets start Slimming down the size of government, Cutting back on thier perks and golden pension, Start running BC farries again and get rid of translink board. And most of all stop looking to take what god damn money I have left so I can save alittle for old age.I could go on
