  • My sincere thanks and congratulations to Wayne Eagling for having the

courage and dedication to bring these wonderful ballets to the British

Public . I,ve personally enjoyed many of Petits ballets by travelling

    to Paris and regretted

that it was impossible to see them here.

Your company really excelled themselves and made their performances a

true homage to this great choreographer. I only hope that we will see

this programme again before too long.

  • @wtsibm Thank you very much for taking the time to send us your comments. We are so pleased you enjoyed the season.

  • I came especially from Belgium to see the Roland Petit season at the Coliseum and it was so dissapointing it had me down for a week ! Especially Carmen was a disaster: poor lighting and sets, corps de ballet of 20 instead of 40 dancers, a Don José with no stage presence and a leading lady without sex-appeal. If you can see it better on YouTube than on the stage, what's the point ? Long live Petit & Jeanmaire !

  • @croque2010 we are really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy our Roland Petit season - the corps de ballet, sets and lighting were exactly as M. Petit set so I'm not sure which version you may have seen in the past. There are some interesting reviews in the Evening Standard, Guardian and Independent which you might enjoy reading.
