Ati cards raped these fx-series nvidia cards back then. 9800 pro might be the best graphics card ever created. That beast ran new games for so long.

The FX5800 Ultra was only marginally faster with AA and AF turned off than the Radeon 9700 Pro when it came out but when you turned on AA and AF the Radeon 9700 Pro destroyed it. As soon as ATi tweaked the 9700 into the 9800 it was over for the FX5800. That and it's loud fan made sure that it wouldn't be on the market for very long. In short, the FX5800 Ultra was a complete failure. The replacement FX5900 and FX5950 cards weren't that much better.The whole FX line was a joke.
