FINANCE: Dr. Harikumar Sankaran: Finance 503, Financial Management

Dr. Harikumar Sankaran is an Associate Professor at NMSU. Before coming to NMSU Dr. Sankaran taught at the University of Houston, University of Miami and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. He teaches mostly graduate level courses and has an interest in option pricing, capital structure, CEO compensation, and corporate governance and information, and markets.

Dr. Sankaran was selected because he cares about helping his students understand finance and spends countless hours tutoring students outside the classroom. Finance 503, Financial Management, was selected because it showcases finance as a graduate degree at NMSU. This class is essential in any finance sector because financial management is the core to any business.
