went all the way trough history to escape the wars off his time, just to wage another war between te people of the future!

@Titan752 That would actually make sense. If you had to start a new civilisation from scratch you could not start with higher physics right away (and he has probably memorised most or all of the school physics so he won't need a book for that). The first thing you would have to built would be a culture. Some history the likes of which the eloi are completely devoid of. A collection of stories would be a start.

i think the three books he took were mathematics, science so they can learn (chemistry , biology and physics) and history

The three light bulbs on George's time machine, were colored red, yellow, and green. The same colors were used in the digital display of the time circuts in the movie "Back to the Future"

Saw this when I was 14 and loved it. But what 3 books would you bring to a new world?? What would you read to Weena?

This movie is the real deal.
Hollywood just keeps getting worse and worse these days.
They butcher the story, then add some Leftist propaganda, to come up with garbage.
I will go see the Hobbit when it's released in theaters but anything else I'll wait for the DVD.

Am I alone in thinking that the Morlocks are more interesting than the Eloi? The former are at least still capable of maintaining and using machinery and of producing their own food whereas the latter may look like idealised versions of ourselves but are in fact completely useless. Why not put them in the cooking pot? Our hero should return with books on engineering, medicine and science and show the Morlocks how to reach the stars while chowing down on a tasty McEloi burger and large fries!
