Wikipedia wasn't a major impact then, it was founded in 2001. It was around for afew years when this made if this was even made past 2001. I know your comment is afew months, I just wanted to point this out. But you've made a solid point, either way. ;)

True, no one could foresee Facebook, Twitter or YouTube taking over but in the big scheme of all things, they have the same social sharing functions that are predicted. In 2005 no one would see the smartphone boom coming in a couple of years, making it so much easier for the these things to work into your lives. If anything, the real internet is ahead of schedule.

Well, this was a pretty solid guess for this being made in...what 2005-2006? They did at least get two of the 6 major sites correct: google and amazon. Of course, who would have predicted facebook, youtube, twitter, and wikipedia? I suppose they should get credit for youtube too, since google technically owns it. They also kind of got a weird combination of twitter, foursquare, and wikipedia with the Epic thing.
