Lay in and hit that bitch with the deck gun!!...granted I'm only seeing a limited perspective video clip, but from what I can see, that would have been a great tactic...drown that bitch out with some big water and go home!
@NikofromGTA not to mention they used an 1 3/4 line instead of a 2 1/2 line. As my instructor said in firefighter 1 from the fall semester "Big fire, Big water"
Good ????? You are joking surely. A line of hose run out probably ten minutes ago and about 5 or 6 firefighters? are practically standing on it.. In part 2 after they had finished the hair and makeup they uised that hose line to great effect..
this woulda been a good fire to throw some foam on.... cuz i mean come on, how often do we really use it?.... at our dept it only gets used when its about to expire.
Good thing nothing important is happening here. Perhaps less time in the day lounge and more time conducting training evolutions would be of some benefit.
@Firedonkey99 Thats the way they do things in the US! It's Tradition, spend anything up to 10 minutes AFTER arrival getting their 'gear on,' hoses laid out, and ventilating, THEN discuss what they should be doing next.
Watched a UK program about firefighters on TV yesterday, arrived at a car fire extending to a house. TWO hose reels and four crew all with BA Packs, water on the fire EIGHT SECONDS after arrival. Fire out in under THREE MINUTES!
