  • Do you speak spanish?

  • First store the profile data in a spreadsheet, Use the spreadsheet data to drive the dims on the sketch. The spiral gear is a sketch that has been "sweep"ed on the helix as a cut. The driven gear tooth 1 is also a swept cut. The rest of the teeth are arrayed. I will get a new computer soon with a sound card. right now i work on a server so I cannot narrate or put in tunes.

  • Nice work! How did You mate theese two gears??

  • hi

how did you the teeths ..?? I'm new in solidworks... for me it is a mistery... :-\ and the worm axis too... can you help me.?

  • Well done, but not correct!

You can clearly see at 1:12 how the worm collides with the teeth of the wheel. I've tried this way, but it's not possible to make it without a collision between the two parts. There is another proper way to make the wheel, but I don't know it.
