With local anathesia, how is the patient laid to perform the surgery? I wear glasses, how long until I could wear my glasses after the surgery?

im 14 i have protruding ears and would like this surgery, but im not sure the best way to go about telling my parents. i dont know how much it would cost and how to follow it up. but i am mostly worried about how they would react, ive never really spoken to anyone about it and have only started looking into it today. has anyone got any suggestions about any of the above please reply soon as you can.

@CarbineGuy ur insurance could pay for it, if you say stuff like "kids pick on me at school" "makes me have a low self of steem" things like that, even if they dont

@CarbineGuy just paid $2500 for one ear local anasthetic, general costs about $500 more, it was revision surgery and it still looks fucked up.....worst thing i ever done

local anathesia is where they inject anasthetic into the skin around ur ear so you can stay awake during the operation.
