I'm new to this board and I do not understand all the "This version is better than this version crap". It's ridiculous! There are lots of good versions of this song and 99.99% we will never hear, because they are being played in people's bedrooms, etc.

I was in Freeport , Texas in ..hell itI was to say 66 or 67...and I had a little plastic battery operated album player.. and my Brother was with me...(RIP Jim)...and I thought this was a great "Torch Song"...and I still do when I break up and worry that she will never come back to ....her Dragon...

In My opinion this is the Best Version of this song. Ricky was one heck of a singer.

I had forgotten that Ricky Nelson had recorded this great old song. He really had a nice voice. I think that he was very under-rated. I just posted my cover of the Eddy Arnold version of this song. Stop by and check it out sometime.

I certainly agree that Ricky was underrated, he could sing anything from Rock n' Roll, to Country, to Pop He had the looks, the hair, and what a musical pedigree of Ozzie and Harriet., he's up there with Elvis in a lot of ways. You do a nice job on the songs you sing on your channel, without impersonation.

Yes, I have been told that the double CD is available. I had the double album, (vinyl)
I down loaded the songs I wanted, and gave the album away.
