HI! This is a composition I wrote 12-10-09. I am writing a series of songs that are of a more chilled out flavor and trying different things. I am using a Roland A-90 that has a nice piano patch and some great weighted keys. My D-50 is being controlled by a QX-3 (internal clock) and is running a string patch that I programmed for it. The Electribe EMX-1 is running the beat and bass track that I programmed into it. I am improving this piano track live. I love playing piano and have had no formal training. I am trying to teach myself music theory but I am not where I want to be with it yet, but I'll get there. :)
Please rate it and leave comments! Please enjoy. :) TSF

PS: I WANT TO DEDICATE THIS SONG TO MY MOTHER WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY ON 12-15-09. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MOM. :) Danielle

  • Hello, what piano patch are you using? would you mind sharing the exact settings?

    thanx!

  • Sure, no problem. :) The patch that I used on the Roland A-90 was "#1, St. Concert." It is the first piano patch that comes on at power up. It is simply a beautiful piano sound. I love the A-90. I have owned my beloved A-90 for about 13 years.

  • wena Catalina Pulido!!!

  • SADE style music.

  • Nice track so smooth and atmospheric.

I like your music SynthFreq and your synth collection !

  • NICE MELODIES MAN! I really liked`em! loved the "g-a-bb--f......"

You have really good musical ideas, youre definitely talented SO I suggest you do yourself a favor and not waist any more time and unnecessary effort and take at least some harmony lessons, itll open your head to new paths and save A LOT of time of figuring out things on your own.

But I know you didnt ask for advice, so anyway, Im glad I heared your music! keep the good work! ;)

  • I really really like this tune

    Very talented

  • hey, this song feels so good, it has a very smooth flavour, excellent, it´s so cool, congratulations

  • Beautiful playing...very cool...

  • I'd lose the D-50, it barely gets by with even pad sounds. I've played one many many times and it really doesn't do well. The D70, which I own, is what a D50 should be, it's really thick. I admit though you've done well with the pad sounds on there, sounds like you've reverbed and chorused them. As far as training goes, just learn chromatic scales, major, minor, sixth and ninth chords, and you'll do well for this flavor of music you're doing. You're drums sound a little compressed.

  • I'm a 88 note controller nut and am buying my first A-90 on Monday. The previous one's have included Fatar Studio 90 and Peavey DPM-C8. I've wanted the A-90 since I first saw it, and loved the action. I own a JD-800 and a JV-880 and have owned many many Roland units. What I find with the piano sounds is a version of the MKS-20 grand running through all the sounds. I'm wondering how the A-90 VE board sound fits that mold. I've considered purchasing an MKS-20 but will likely just trigger sounds.

  • ce fatza de bidon turtit ai:)):))):)))
