@BRLStudio show her some love, and it will get you far. Start saving for a new car and drive this one into the ground if you like it. I sold mine about a year ago to my neighbor who bought it for his first car. He still has it but she ain't what she used to be now.

@BRLStudio I used 10W-30. I had a clicking sound coming from the front exhaust manifold which was easily welded up. But a sticking lifter is possible but maybe run some seafoam in the crankcase at idle for about 10 minutes and change the oil. Some guys run a qt. of ATF fluid for 100 miles or so which cleans things up and won't hurt the motor. I also put coolant additives in but that just clogged my heater core and IMO I think are a waste of money. Keep her clean, don't bag on it,

really i have a 4.1 sedan deville and in 18. i was thinging of selling it because of what i heard about them. I got 104 on the clock and theres a small clicking sound next to the driverside, i think lifter but in=m not sure. how did you keep your 4.1 running good. collant additives? 20-50 oil? anything elce i could look for to replace?, i was planning on taking it to LA from Sacramento.

@Jetsurf2002 ? unless your refering to your car, the car in the vid has a 4.1 and is not desined to have drag race hp regardless
The driver looks like a porn king from the 70s now retired and living the good life in the 80s.

I'll agree with you on that except for my 86 Deville. It was the most reliable Cadillac I ever owned oddly enough. And the best car in the winter as well.
