As the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 begins in the West Indies, UNICEF, in partnership with the International Cricket Council and UNAIDS has enlisted the help of the world's top cricketers to speak out about the impact of HIV and AIDS on children. Watch and hear what they have to say.

RAHUL DRAVID is captain of the Indian cricket team and maybe the finest number three batsman that the nation has ever produced.

He has also brought his considerable intellectual gifts to bear on the impact HIV is having on his country. That is why he has joined the International Cricket Council, UNAIDS and UNICEF in promoting the Unite for Children. Unite against Aids campaign during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

  • Dravid represents all that is still good in India, he's a phenomenal role model and gives every Indian a sense of pride. The young players should look to his behaviour and then to their own (Sreesanth, Harbhajan). He may well be the last gentleman of cricket.

  • Dravid has such class. Not only in his cricket, but also his personality. My favourite player of all time.

  • I wish if he comes back to one day cricket.

  • cute vid

  • That is true

  • cric-tube dot com <_- latest cirkcet highlights! more there

  • i agree, he is more consistant, but in the long run, tendulkar is proborably better

  • Stigma is deeply rooted though, it'll take more then words to change people's perceptions of HIV-infected people! It is more of a fear of getting infected themselves by HIV infected individuals that causes discrimination.

  • firstly i he is better than tendulkar and always will be at batting not only is he more consistant than the beloved sachin he has a better technique. He is my favourite batsmen. (i support India)

  • excellant !!
