Tutorial: How To Record Gameplay Footage w/Commentary Using FRAPS 3

This tutorial will show you how to use FRAPS 3 to record gameplay footage from fullscreen applications (simulated in this tutorial) with an optional commentary track.

The method presented here requires Fraps 3 or higher and Windows Vista/7.
If you have XP or an earlier version of fraps, you can still use this tutorial, I show briefly how it's done toward the end.

One thing I did not address in the video is FRAPS will record the native resolution of the game. Whatever your display is set to, is what will be recorded (at full size).

lets say your on a skype call and playing a game with that person and you want them to be herd.... will it recognize them or do you need another program

So u can record the game with the gamesound, and if u dont use the box from external sound, only the gamesounds are able to hear? And in camtesia (if i get this right) u can record ur voice and fit it in the video, like some kind of commentary? Thanks dude like + sub
