insomnia
too exhausted to be awake
too full of life to sleep
full of questions
about the horror which tomorrow brings

So, my father is a general contractor and he does a lot of work in the east bay. He comes home from work one day, several years ago, and tells me that one of his laborers is a real good drummer and that the guy gave my dad one of his band's C.D.'s. He said he "tried" it on the way home but couldn't really deal with it and that it might be more my "type" of music. Thus I listened to my favorite metal album ever for the first time.
