  • ever tried software like verseperfect? (free). i find it highly efficient compared to written dictionaries (or even online ones). rhymes and thesaurus is automaticly displayed wherever your marker is. you don't have to look up anything, just pick and chose. brilliant!

  • @bjarnyg Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

  • Very cool! Thanks for putting this together Brian....super helpful! I also just attended one of Pat's seminars and found that a great help.

Doesn't the thesaurus have another word for thesaurus?

  • I wish!

Yes, Pats, the go - no doubt about it, and a super gent as well.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Cheers

  • Thank you tons! I like the part about 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

  • My pleasure mr2monster! Good luck with the writing, just remember to keep getting up in the middle of the night to write down that 1% inspiration!

    Cheers

  • Cheers Brian, really enjoyed your presentation and info. About an hour before viewing your vid I emailed the local audio institute here in Christchurch NZ about the next lyric writing seminar taken by Pat Pattison, I think I better get his book. Cool bro

  • lol he loves the juice

  • THis was really great! I always get stuck with about 4 lines or 30 seconds of music. Its nice to see someone work through it. I would love to see how you come up with the rest of it.
