Funny how I closed my eyes and did not "hear" Peart drumming. I have played music for 25 years. I am not saying he is bad at all, just not a jazz influenced drummer and hits too hard to try and make a point. Listen to Neil play jazz, it's all feel and nothing more then when he plays with Rush. I hear nothing but power house drumming with this cat whoever he is? Great drummer, but not a feeling drummer, sorry but hit heavy does not a drummer make.
