Bikes for lazy people with girly man legs.

Overpriced ebike. I reccomend 1 Kw of power for any serious ebiker. More power doesn't always me more speed. You can limit speed and still have the power. Power is very important for comfortable climbing and acceleration. I reccomend currie technologies electric parts. Create your own beast.

they should just sell the battery pack with charger and the stand thing (and whatever ellse you need in a kit) to add it to any bike...(ANY!)
then these things would really fly off the shelf's
JUST LIKE if a universal car engine came out that can be fitted into any car like a 89 Camry etc instead of buying a new car....
just a thought

alexzeegreat,
There was a company that made those types of kits.. I think they were called "Zap" --- It didn't do all that well because battery tech at the time couldn't handle the demand, but I agree with you that a standalone pack would be pretty cool.

very nice job, very nice bike!
does it reload when youre breaking? this would be a nice innovation, climbin hills easily, go down with a load of energy!

soefrie87,
There's no regenerative breaking in the units we tested, though I guess they could add if it was really in demand.
