That's a Phase Linear 4000 4 channel Pre-Amp that I run thru along with Sequential Circuits (best known for the Prophet 5 Synth) rack unit that houses a parametric EQ. Just a sample of what "old school" gear I still run. Surround sound, 5.1 and 7.1 are cool but give me the analog days anytime. Digital is great for the final mix and mastering but until then I prefer tubes and analog. The warmth they create is unmatched. ex; my 1970 Fender Bassman 10 Amp I still use today 40 yrs. later.
