no no no !!! "Oft denk' ich, sie sind nur ausgegangen" is NOT a funny Wanderlied. Don't hear any touch of doubts which are repeating garish spotlights to known immense emotional tragedy behind self-appeasing lyrics.

Straordinario cantante Goerne che ho ascoltato tre volte nella mia città (Reggio Emilia) in lieder di Schubert e Schumann. Quello che qui impressiona è la partecipazione emotiva che non va mai a scapito del rigore musicale e vocale. E' un grandissimo in questo repertorio e questo ciclo di Mahler cantato da lui è un vero capolavoro. Il finale mi ha profondamente commosso.
