How To Install Front Lip/Chin Spoiler On A Honda Civic

I bought this front lip/chin spoiler on eBay for $40. It was pretty easy to install. I am hoping it might increase my gas mileage from keeping some air from going under the car where it is aerodynamically dirty. Basically, I am using it as an air dam. But if it doesn't, it still looks pretty cool.

It doesn't make your "bumper" lower. It is not designed to take an impact. But it does drop down below the stock bumper.

I bought the tape at Autozone. But other autoparts store probably carry it also.

Yes, it is polyurethane. Which is great if I bump a curb, it bends and doesn't break.

Yes, screws were included. I didn't paint it due to the cost of doing it right. Besides, the black matches the stock rocker panels on the side which are black.

I think about 1 or 2mpg at freeway speeds. It's impossible to measure unless you do it under scientific conditions. But I noticed what seemed like a smal improvement.

ya my bro got the type r lip for his civic for 40 bucks off of ebay.  and it looks nice. im getting this same lip. this vid helps alot for instalation.
