@Glenn1967ful Good one, mate. I had my own rubber toy soldier named after him, Poor little soldier was chfew-chfew-chfew-ed over and over....

They used to play it on São Paulo public TV back in the 1980s. So much has changed...
I wish TV hadn't become such rubbish.

One of the best TV-themes. Very moving. Makes one think of the dramatic fates of the millions of people who died during the war. My thanks to composer Robert Farnon.

Erinomainen sarja.

IT WAS SO EMOTIONAL , I STILL GET THAT FEELING, HEARING THE INTRO , WHICH VERY EFFECTIVELY SHOWS THE PASSAGE OF TIME , THROUGH PARALLEL LINES .

listen very carefully I will say it only once :-)

One of the best serials ever! Great stories, great acting, great everything!
Love from Iran

It may have been sent up by Allo Allo but Secret Army was a surprisingly griity series, full of betrayal,double-cross,cold-blo
oded murder and innocents caught in the crossfire between escape line, other resistance groups and the Germans. Well worth watching, especially for fans of Colditz ,with which Secret Army shares production team and many actors.

I used to hate Standartenfuehrer Kessler with a passion and wanted to kill him. Apparently Clifford Rose, who played Kessler, used to cause people to cross the road in fear, or used to get people shouting abuse at him.
