'Avatar' and its impact on the real world

(NECN: Scot Yount) - James Cameron's "Avatar" continues to rake it in at the box office with its popularity bringing a legion of cult followers. But the impact on some of these followers is leading to unexpected side effects.

The world of the new 3D movie "Avatar" is so inviting, so lush and visually exquisite that some fans simply can't believe their eyes.

The film has grossed approaching 1.5 billion dollars worldwide. James Cameron is well on his way to the largest box office hit of all time, and he already owns the crown with the movie Titanic.

Avatar has more than a casual cult following, and that following is developing a complex.




Scores of websites and blogs have posters complaining of depression and a yearning for film's the fantasy life.

There are plentry people that had depression issues with Avatar yet had no desire to live in the films fantasy , Avatars very clever yet simple story while fantasy relates very strongly to todays real world issues it realy does make people think and ask some very serious questions about issues we see everyday yet are forced to repress inside .its not just an enviromental film by any means please comment
