Thank you to both of you. I have to sign another story on Thursday. I got it ahead of time thank god but hopefully this will help me to not have to spend hours just reading it trying to memorize it word for word before signing it lol. I tend to do that. I cant pick out important information. Even if you look in my text books at what I highlight about 75% of the book ends up being highlighted lol. Thanks again for all of your help!!!

This video was actually very, very clear. I really am not a strong signer, but I feel as if I understood about 95% of that. Good job!

Do you have any tips on how to remember large amounts of information for ASL and interpreting classes? For example. For our midterm, we were given a story that was about a page and a half in lingth and had to write 5 mini one paragraph stories of our own and had 7 minutes to write the stories and memorize the page and a half story as well as our stories. We needed to know dates, names, everything. I found that impossible to do. Do you have any tips for something like that?

Yes... When you read the story, understand what you're reading. You need to understand it first and then you can do with it what you will. You need to do a little work and memorize the dates...
but when you understand what you're signing, that helps your memory really well.
