I wonder when can men beat the 40 second mar in 100 m freestyle or is it humanly possible.
Johnny Weismuller (Tarzan) broke the one minute mark and won the gold medal in 1924 and 1928.

van den Hoogenband is truly awesome. I didn't remember this great comeback. I think Schoeman is very fast, but doesn't have the technick that Peter and Thorpe have. BTW, The Thorpedo made a great comeback too. We have to think that it isn't his race. Great Show!!!
