  • Many thanks for your efforts in making these videos, just one question @ 0:42 you say 'the more open the lens is so the lower the F stops the more depth of field you get', I was always taught 'the lower the F stops the lower the depth of field.

    I looked it up on Wikipedia and it says the same thing, I always assumed if more is in focus then the depth of field is greater?

  • @akaflk I agree with you this guy has it ass backwards the lower the F stop the less depth of field you have.

    Also he neglected to mention the fact that when you lower the F stop you are forced into using a faster shutter speed to obtain a proper exposure.
