A quick video featuring three of my favorite websites where you can listen to your favorite music, anywhere, for free! No registration, no nothing, just search for you music, and listen. Even if the music you want to search for has recently been released, you'll likely find it (on Grooveshark, anyway).
Out of laziness, I will not add annotations, since the concept is fairly self-explanatory. Some parts of the video were sped up due to a lack of interest in cutting out unnecessary parts of the video.
Here's how I'd rate each of the websites listed in the video overall (out of 5):
Grooveshark - 5. No doubt in my mind that this is the best. Not to mention (if I'm correct) Grooveshark won the 2009 Webby awards in music/audio.
Mixturtle - 3. Maybe 2.5... Somewhat limited index of songs, and problems playing some songs. Basically, just very buggy in general and seems only as a last resort if Last.fm or Grooveshark don't have the song...
Last.fm - 3.5 Last.fm is great, I've found many new songs and functions much like Pandora does. Maybe a reason I like this more, is you can listen to some, if not most songs you can think of.
As a side note, I absolutely f****ing hate WMG. This time I was not even able to have the video uploaded without them detecting the song. Of course, I should have known better than using a song from a popular band.... The song I "tried" using was The Unforgiven, by Metallica. I understand why they have to do this, but still,I have no respect whatsoever for WMG...
Sure, I don't mind.
