My absolute favourite scene from the series. Mr David Hyde Pierce is a pure comic genius here, as classic as Chaplin, Tati and Keaton... It´s been uploaded here a couple of times but I havent seen it for a while so I thought I might as well upload it myself...
From Season Six, the episode is named "Three Valentines" and the scene "A Valentine for Niles". It is one of the highest rated scenes ever on the fan networks, reaching an average of 97,2%.
Enjoy!

  • One of the reasons Americans love Mr Bean is because they understand the comedic value of silent situations and how difficult it is to pull off nowadays. Rowen Atkinson as Mr Bean was able to do it and David Hyde Pearce is another one. This clip shows what a comedy genius Pearce is. Although i do have to say Fraiser was better when Niles was in love with Daphne and she did'nt know it.

  • Brilliant! I read somwhere that David was paid $750,000 per episode. He was definitely worth it.

  • @smrhyne yeah kelsey was paid like $1.3 million in the end

  • The most hilarious moment in Frasier history!

  • @gregvs3 being a Doctor means having a doctorate; I believe the Frasier brothers have their doctorates in psychology/psychiatry, which doesn't necessarily involve working with blood extensively.

  • THIS IS ABSOLUTELU THE BEST.

  • Thank you for posting this - it's one of my favourite Frasier episodes. The physical comedy of David Hyde Pierce is fanastic!

  • This has to be the funniest scene out of all 11 seasons of Frasier. David Hyde Pierce is a comedic genuis!

  • Thank you so much for posting. When I saw this for first time I nearly pissed myself (...well, not nearly...). This is one of my favouritest scenes from Frasier. God, I miss this show so much!!! ;-(

  • Frasier is quite possibly the funniest show ever, but it would not be the same without niles. He makes the show with his child like demeanor and smart ass remarks long live niles crane!!!

  • Proof of genius in 7 minutes

  • sheer brilliance
